“Before she says ‘I do‘ let’s have a drink or two”
I actually can NOT believe that it has taken me TWO FREAKIN’ YEARS to write a Bachelorette Guide for Nashville! Let me first just preface this by saying that I loathe country music with an undying passion – a myriad of songs dedicated to ripped jeans, bare-feet, whiskey, red solo cups, heartbreak & dying dogs is just not my thing tbh – but I absolutely ADORED Nashville. Emphasis on adore. We ventured there for my cousins’ Bachelorette in 2016 & I would absolutely go back in a heart beat! I’m honestly praying that one of my girlfriends’ will host their Bachelorette Party there in the future because I feel like there’s so much more to see! So read on to get the “ins & outs” of what you need to know if you’re hosting a Bachelorette Weekend in Nashville this summer… or should I say “Nash-vegas“?!
Where You Should Stay
AirBnb – Regardless of WHERE you’re heading, an AirBnb is an absolute no brainer for Bachelorette Parties for a multitude of reasons. One. It’s cheaper. Two. You can find some seriously cute, Pinterest-worthy spots. & Three. It’s just plain easier to have everyone in one space. Side Note: I honestly can’t remember the last time I actually stayed in a hotel…it’s been FOREVER. Our Airbnb in Nashville could NOT have been more perfect or more adorable! It was just so quintessentially “Nashville” – I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited about a freakin’ tractor parked on a neighboring lawn #ambiance – & housed all of us very comfortably! Nashville has a really great pool of Airbnbs’… you can find OUR exact AirBnb here!
What You Should Do
Image Via: Nashville Pedal Tavern
Nashville Pedal Tavern – OMG if there is ONE thing that you do in Nashville… it NEEDS to be the Nashville Pedal Tavern. It is humiliating & it is hilarious in every best way possible. It’s essentially a bar on wheels that you pedal through the streets of Nashville, all the while stopping off at various actual bars along your ride. Cars will likely honk at you because if you’re anything like us, you’ll be travelling at .2 miles/hour, & people will absolutely point, stare & laugh but it all adds to the hilariousness of the situation. We all – somewhat begrudgingly – wore our pink Bachelorette tanks & it was so cheesy & so perfect.
Whiskey Tastings – You can’t possibly go to Nashville without tasting some whiskey! We originally wanted to visit the Jack Daniels Distillery but it is a good trek outside of Nashville so we opted for the Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery instead! It’s in this really unique, historic part of Nashville (almost reminds me of the Distillery District for you Torontonians out there) & was totally worth it. Not to mention, they give you some pretty darn healthy samples of whiskey to taste at the end of the tour.
Bar Hop on the Honky Tonk Highway – The Honky Tonk Highway is wild & you will likely encounter one thousand other Bachelor or Bachelorette parties upon your journey down the Honky Tonk Highway & it is hilarious. I’ve decided that Nashville is one hundred percent the new Las Vegas. What I love the most about the bars along the Honky Tonk Highway is that there are ZERO lines, there is minimal cover (if any) & there will likely be a live band always playing at every single bar that you go to! Literally just spend at least one night bar hopping on the Honky Tonk Highway listening to great music & sippin’ on great beers.
Window Shop in 12 South – We all collectively LOVED this part of Nashville! It is suuuuuper cute & practically MADE for Instagram opportunities. This quaint street is lined with amazing restaurants, parks & shops… this is also where Reese Witherspoon’s flagship clothing store, Draper James, is located! Spend a day shopping & eating here with the ladies before going out at night!
Where You Should Eat
Josephine – We actually cooked most of our meals at the AirBnb but we wanted to spend at least one evening out at a nice restaurant! Josephine’s was delicious. Picture elevated, contemporary farmhouse dining & bonus, because it was in the ever-so-quaint area of 12 South which was even better! After our meal we walked down the street to Bartaco for after dinner cocktails!

Biscuit Love – I don’t think I could ever forgive myself if I ventured to the South without having me some good ol’ fashion biscuits & gravy. IF you go here for breakfast – which I highly recommend – in addition to ordering biscuits – because duh – you should absolutely order Bonuts for the table. It’s fried biscuits with all of these wonderfully sweet toppings. DROOL. We were in biscuit heaven.
Frothy Monkey – Great spot for coffee & casual eats… but you’ll STILL find your Southern Classics if that’s what you’re craving! Also located in 12 South… can you tell we liked it there?
Welp… That’s all my foggy memory can muster up from our trip to Nashville! Have you been? What can you add to the list for a Bachelorette?
