Easter Tablescapes that Won’t Break the Bank

“How does the Easter Bunny stay healthy? Eggsercise”

Stephanie Beavers

Easter decor is among my favourite of holiday accessories to work with for table settings! The pretty pastels synonymous with this particular Holiday are just SO lovely & instantaneously transform any space into the most Instagram & Pinterest-worthy of settings. Because lets be real, I sure as hell wouldn’t put this much effort into anything if it weren’t for the ability to post “said tablescape efforts” publicly in exchange for an audience to bestow instantaneous & superficial praise, adoration and affirmation via a flurry of Instagram Likes & Comments. Millennials… gotta love us, right? SO, if you too want to “Martha it up for the ‘Gram” this Easter but are looking to do it on a budget – then don’t worry, I got ya covered!

Three Affordable Easter Tablescapes

Holiday decor is something that I absolutely LOVE but never really like spending money on. I mean, I think it’s kind of a waste to blow an inordinate amount of cash on decor that will likely only see the light of day for like a grand total of 48 hours each year before it’s banished back into the depths of a storage cellar. I therefore always try & think of ways to incorporate decorations that can be recycled throughout the holiday season (I use the same wreath for Thanksgiving, Halloween & Christmas) OR simple DIYs that won’t cost me an entire paycheques’ worth of money. SO… below are my three favourite Easter Settings on the cheap! ENJOY!

Citrus Centrepiece

Okay so this centrepiece is so incredibly easy, & then bonus points because you can one hundred percent eat it après Easter celebrations. Simply take any old serving platter, arrange lemons & oranges on it, & then mix in a few pastel Easter Eggs here & there to give it a bit of a festive flare! Voila! Simple, cheap & pretty, yet totally effective. If you wanna be a little bit “extra” you can dye your eggs naturally – I’ve used this DIY HERE – or you can always take the lazy man route like I did for this particular setting & buy artificial eggs on the cheap from the Dollar Store or Michaels!

Rustic Nest

Now I have to be honest, this craft was a little bit more on the tedious side of things but I’m seriously obsessed with how freakin’ cute this DIY nest is! I made this up at the cottage last year, & I’m still so impressed with my efforts on this one. Now in terms of the actual table setting itself, I’m thinking that you could either make one larger nest & use it as the centrepiece OR you could make several smaller ones & place one nest on each of your guests’ plates! Either option would look…. egg-squisite.

Simple Floral Place Setting

Sometimes less is more, & that is certainly the case with this gorgeous table setting! I love that it’s not so obnoxious, in-your-face “Easter”, yet still manages to feel very spring & festive! I mean I really don’t even think I have to give you a play-by-play on this one because it’s pretty self-explanatory! I just wanted to throw in a setting that was both simple & stunning! Side Note: I think that either the citrus centrepiece OR the rustic nest centrepiece would pair perfectly with this particular place setting!!!
