How To: Host a Royal Wedding Viewing Party

“When Harry Met Meghan…”

Source

Watching The Crown’s Claire Foy master that ever-so elegant flick of the wrist made infamous by Queen Elizabeth has increased my interest in the Royal Family exponentially! Now in an effort to stoke my passion for all things Royal in lieu of The Crown’s temporary absence from the small screen, I’ve made sure to binge watch nearly every single Royal Documentary that Netflix has to offer and pour myself over every little detail of the upcoming Royal Wedding. My mom & I watched the wedding of William & Kate but for some reason I am one hundred million times more excited for THIS one!! Maybe it’s the loose Toronto connection or maybe it’s because Harry is so clearly the cooler of the two Princes I’m not sure… all I know is that come May 19th I will be up at 4:30am to watch the coverage in its entirety! Will you? If the answer is YES then here is everything you need to host a Royal Wedding Viewing Party!

Royal Wedding Viewing Party Essentials

Invitations via Paperless Post: Amador Theme

I love how Regal & Royal the Amador Theme invitations are from Paperless Post. They are very much on the same vibe as the ones that Harry & Meghan sent out for their wedding. Click HERE for the invitation.

Royal Wedding Predictions Printout

I had so much fun creating this Prediction Printout! Have a few on hand for your guests to fill out upon arrival. I always enjoy a little competitive element at parties & this printout should do the trick – take a sip of your tea or mimosa every time you predict incorrectly! Click HERE for the printout.

Mimosa Bar

I mean, coverage of the Royal Wedding starts at like 4:30am here in Toronto… what else are you going to toast with?! Side Note: you should also have tea at the ready too (duh!). Click HERE for more details on the Mimosa Bar. Ps. Pop THESE adorable London Party Straws into everyones’ mimosa glass!

The Foods

Have light, easy-to-make breakfast foods out for your guests like these timbit skewers or mini parfaits! I’d also recommend purchasing scones from a local bakery & serving them with an assortment of jams.

The Attire

Any combination of pajamas, satin robes, crowns & tiaras (Helloooooo Dollarstore!) & fascinators is a must.

Royal Paraphernalia

I literally can’t get over how much Meghan & Harry Royal Paraphernalia is out there. Like it is beyond. I’m a major fan of THIS Harry & Meghan Life Size Cutout, THESE Royal Masks, & THESE United Kingdom Flags!

Will you be watching The Royal Wedding?!
