“Dear Great Pumpkin. I’m looking forward to your arrival on Halloween night”
Linus in It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
Every year up at the cottage, our family friends host a pumpkin carving contest over Thanksgiving weekend. I’ve therefore developed a pretty strong passion for all things pumpkin carving… or lack thereof! With Halloween fast approaching, I wanted to share a few of these super fun & creative ideas with you guys today! Some involve a bit of carving while others are completely non-carve! ALSO, if you do happen to try out some of these DIY projects, use the hashtag “HHHpumpkin” to get featured on our Instagram page: @healthyhappyandhilarious
Mike Wazowski Pumpkin – I wrote up a DIY on this little dude last year, which you can find here.
My boyfriend & I with our prized pumpkin! I also love the snowman pumpkin in the back & pumpkin “pi” top right.. so clever!
Pumpkin Burger & Pumpkin Fries. I’d seen this one floating around the internet & I HAD to give it a go! Most people used actual ground beef for the patty, but I was far too lazy for that & instead used brown bread that had already gone stale. I wanted to go the extra mile so I added my own touch with pumpkin fries using leftovers from this pumpkin… it’s all in the details folks!
Tennis Ball Pumpkin. A friend of mine added this on her Instagram & I asked if I could feature it because it is SO gosh darn cute! So unique & creative too! This pumpkin belongs to Tori Buck!
Great White Shark Pumpkin. I’m shark obsessed so I HAD to do it! I used a stencil for this one, which you can find here.
What are some of YOUR most creative pumpkin DIY’s?!
